Jardiance Met

Jardiance Met (generic name: empagliflozin, metformin; trade names include: Synjardy) is a combination medicine containing empagliflozin and metformin. It is used in the treatment of diabetes.

The two medication combined in one pill work together to lower blood glucose levels. Empagliflozin can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Jardiance Met is available as pills containing 12.5 mg of empagliflozin and 1 g (1000 mg) of metformin, manufactured by Boehringer Ingelheim.
