Cytoxan
This January I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. No need to say what shock it was for me. My oncologist prescribed with Cytoxan once a day. I have the side effects that are pretty common for all cancer medications; diarrhea, nausea, dizziness and rash. Luckily it is possible to control all the side effects with other meds and it is no problem for me. Though it's been only a month on Cytoxan I can say that I am already feeling well. Hope the x-ray will show the improvement as well. In general the medication is working, I can feel it!

I used Cytoxan to treat my Stage 2 ovarian cancer. After 3 years of treatment and a surgery to check for residual cancer cells, my oncologist declared me cancer free. Isn't it magic? No doubt the medication has side effects (nausea, insomnia sometimes and indigestion) but isn't it worth of standing the symptoms to become healthy again and forget about the constant fear of dying from cancer? I'm praying for this medication and the people who created it.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer in August 2009. After a clinical trial I started on some strong medication but the side effects were unbearable and I asked my oncologist to put me on another medication. And since December 2009 I've been on Cytoxan. Normal life expectancy for this type of cancer is from 2 to 4 years. I feel much better with Cytoxan and hope God will give me some more time to enjoy this world. Side effects are minimal for me.

Three years ago my sister was diagnosed with lung cancer and went through treatment. After trying several medication some of which had terrible side effects that could be compared to death, she is now on Cytoxan and seems to be satisfied with the way it is. The side effects are present but they are nothing in comparison to what she has already come through. Cytoxan helps her stay optimistic and happy with what she has. I pray for the drug to continue bringing positive results!
