Allopurinol

Allopurinol was very very effective for me. Gout attacks made me nearly powerless but this medication changed things for the better. It noticed only one side effect, it was excessive sweating. Just a couple of quick steps can make me all wet. It is not very pleasant but it is definitely less confusing than having a gout attack.

I first started having attacks of gout when I was 31. My doctor failed to diagnose me in the right way, so in a couple of month I addressed a rheumatologist, who prescribed me with Allopurinol. The worst thing is that I've heard people who take these pills can no longer deal without them. But having to choose between gout and pills till the end of the life, I chose Allopurinol

For me Allopurinol is a lifesaver! I have been using the pills for about the past 15 years. I am now 76. Since I remember myself I've been leading an active way of life, I do exercises and go in for sports. With such lifestyle gout attacks make my life stop. That's why allopurinol pills naturally bring me back alive and I have never had any side effects from them.

About 12 years ago my doctor found out that the level of uric acid in my blood was above normal. Soon afterwards I started having gout attacks and felt myself an old helpless ass. But my doc, a nice young lady, prescribed me with Allopurinol. It has been 10 years since I started taking the pills and I'm still damn grateful to my wonderful doctor!

I know what Allopurinol is, I use it for 5 years now. What I have to say is that Allopurinol is only effective after regular use for a few months. It can not cure your gout or stop an attack that has already started. But it brings you back the control over your life. For me it is exactly what I need.

I am not an old crack but from time to time I suffer from attacks of gout. When it makes me feel really miserable I take allopurinol, but I do not observe any regimen. May be if I would, the attacks would step away. I'll try it next month!

Guys, avoid making the same mistakes as I do. Take your allopurinol regularly if you want to keep away from gout attacks. If you happen to miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If I understand it right, regular doses of the med help your body maintain the normal level of uric acid in your blood.
