Ciclohale

Ciclohale (generic name: ciclesonide) is used for the treatment of persistent asthma in adults. It is a corticosteroid medication.

Ciclohale inhalers are available as 80 mcg inhalers containing 80 mcg of ciclesonide per each puff and 160 mcg inhalers containing 160 mcg of ciclesonide per each puff.

One inhaler contains 120 metered doses.

Ciclohale is manufactured by Cipla.

The usual recommended dosage is 80 to 320 mcg once daily.

Precautions

Ciclohale should be used with caution in patients with active or quiescent pulmonary infections, and only if these patients are adequately treated.
