Zyrtec
Zyrtec (generic name: cetirizine, brand names include: Reactine / Alercet / Alergex / Alerid / Certex-24 / Cetrine / Cetzine / Cezin / Histazine / Riztec / Ryzen / Triz / Virlix / Xero-sed / Zirtin / Zyrzine) is a non-drowsy antihistamine medicine that treats both indoor and outdoor allergy symptoms, as well as chronic hives.
Zyrtec is indicated for:
Relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis due to allergens such as ragweed, grass and tree pollens in adults and children 2 years of age and older. Symptoms treated effectively include sneezing, itchy, runny nose; and itchy, red, watery eyes.
Relief of symptoms associated with perennial allergic rhinitis due to allergens such as dust mites, animal dander and molds in adults and children 6 months of age and older.
Treatment of the uncomplicated skin manifestations of chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children 6 months of age and older. It significantly reduces the occurrence, severity, and duration of hives and significantly reduces pruritus.

Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take Zyrtec exactly as directed.
Zyrtec is usually taken once a day with or without food.
Do not use Zyrtec to treat hives that are bruised or blistered, that are an unusual color, or that do not itch. Call your doctor if you have these types of hives.
If you miss a dose of Zyrtec, take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
Store this medicine at room temperature, away from excess heat and moisture.
Precauciones
Before taking Zyrtec, tell your doctor if:
you are allergic to any medicines;
you have or have ever had kidney or liver disease;
you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding.
