Eurax

Eurax Cream and Lotion (generic name: crotamiton) is a topical scabicidal and antipruritic medicine.

Eurax is used for the treatment of scabies and for symptomatic treatment of skin itching.

Recommendations

Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Use Eurax Cream / Lotion exactly as directed.

In Scabies:
Massage into the skin of the whole body from the chin down, paying particular attention to all folds and creases. A second application is advisable 24 hours later. Clothing and bed linen should be changed the next morning. A cleansing bath should be taken 48 hours after the last application.

Precautions

Tell your doctor before using Eurax cream or lotion, if:

you are allergic to any medicines;
you have any serious skin conditions such as acute inflammation or raw surfaces;
you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
