Doxylamine (brand names include: Aldex / Unisom) belongs to a class of drugs known as antihistamines / sedatives.

Doxylamine is usually used for the short-term treatment of insomnia.

Doxylamine may also be used to treat cold and allergy symptoms, and to prevent nausea and sickness in pregnant women.
