Last year when I was pregnant I had serious problems with my legs. By the end of the day they used to get thick and swollen. I couldn't wear shoes and it was unpleasant for me to move. I not only looked ugly but my doctor told me that it was not good for me and for the baby as well. I did my best not to drink too much liquids but the problem wouldn't go away. Then my doctor put me on Lasix and since that time I forgot about ankle edemas. The medication made it so easy for me to control the amount of water in my body and get rid of the horrible leg edemas. Before this drug I have tried many herbal solutions, but teas that were supposed to increase urination and pills that were kind of absorbing extra liquids. But nothing helped. I used to hate evenings as I couldn't went home from work without feeling extreme pain from my legs that got considerably bigger than my shoes. But with Lasix the problem disappeared. I would recommend it to other pregnant women as they are prone to have similar problems.  

For me Lasix turned out to be the only trusted solution for treatment of my high blood pressure combined with edemas and water retention problems. The thing was that my body couldn't cope with the amount of liquids it received on its own. I developed horribly looking ankle and hand edemas, my blood pressure increased dramatically and consequently my condition was often next to fainting. Once the edema was that bad that I had to have my wedding ring cut into two pieces to get my finger freed. The finger first got swollen and I could no longer take the ring off, then it started getting blue and finally I developed such pain that I could think of nothing else but taking off that ring in any way. Of course later I was in despair and felt incredibly sorry for the ring, but what else could be done? If only I knew about Lasix at that time! This medication is amazing when it comes to diuretic effect, it's incredibly good at reducing the amount of liquid in the body and consequently reducing edemas.  

I had problems with my ankles and feet even before my pregnancy. As I work in the office and do not move a lot during the day by the evening I used to develop nasty looking edema of the ankles. My doctor advised me to wear special stockings and follow a diet with low level of liquids. That was more or less acceptable, though sometimes I still had pain in the legs and it was not always comfortable for me to move. However when I got pregnant things turned significantly worse. The swelling increased, besides I started worrying about the veins in my legs as due to venous insufficiency there was a risk of varix dilatation. When I told my doctor that the edema and pain increased and that by the evening my legs get thick and heavy he put me on Lasix to remove extra liquids from my body and advised me to wear stockings with higher compression effect. Now my son is already 2 months old and there are no ugly-looking veins on my legs. Besides Lasix helped me a lot with liquids control.
