I have been using Iressa for about two month to treat cancer in my lungs. My doctor says this medication prevents cancer cells from growing. Of course, it was only my impression, but I thing Iressa improved my condition because I started feeling myself much better. And after using the medication for about a month my doctor carried out a number of tests and stated that the amount of cancer cells I my lugs decreased. I was really happy to hear that! Not I finally have hope thanks to Iressa!  

Iressa is an anticancer drug that slows down the growth of cancer cells. I was prescribed with this medication when my doctor diagnosed me with cancer, three years ago. I have studied much literature about cancer treatment and finally decided to try Iressa as it seemed to be the most beneficial solution with mildest side effects. And I still think that I have made the right choice as I'm still alive what wasn't expected by my doctor! Iressa taught me to fight for my life, successfully!  

My sister was diagnosed with lungs cancer about four years ago. It was a real shock for the whole family, but we soon recovered from it as we needed to support her and make her struggle with the disease. We have visited many doctors and all of them prescribed strange unconventional drugs, we even tried some of them, but they provided no effect and my sister's condition was growing worse. I can judge Iressa's effectiveness on my personal experience. I used the medication after having undergone my intravenous chemotherapy. I started taking Iressa in 2005. My last scan after the chemotherapy and Iressa treatment showed that the cancer stopped growing. I also noticed the improvement in my condition; I started feeling myself much better than before. Each scan thereafter showed slow but still noticeable improvement. I'm still taking Iressa and still showing signs of improvement. Wonderful medication for lung cancer.
