Medrol

Medrol (generic name: methylprednisolone; brand names include: Zempred / Phocenta / Solu-Medrol / Cadista) belongs to the group of medicines known as corticosteroids.

Medrol is prescribed for the treatment of various conditions including endocrine (hormonal) disorders when the body does not produce enough of its own steroids. It is also used to treat many immune and allergic disorders, such as arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, asthma, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease.

Medrol can be used in the treatment of COVID-19 infection due to its potent anti-inflammatory properties.
