Fingolimod

Fingolimod (brand names include: Gilenya) is an immunomodulating medication used for the treatment of multiple sclerosis.

Fingolimod is used for the treatment of the relapsing form of multiple sclerosis. It has been reported to reduce the rate of relapses by approximately one-half over a two-year period.

Fingolimod can also be used in chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy.
