Prednisolone Oral Drops

Prednisolone (trade names include: Omnacortil / Deltacortril / Deltastab / Prednesol / Orapred / Millipred / Prelone / Veripred) is a corticosteroid drug.

Prednisolone is used for the treatment of a wide range of inflammatory and auto-immune conditions, including: asthma, uveitis, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, Bell's palsy, multiple sclerosis, cluster headaches, systemic lupus erythematosus, and dermatomyositis.

Prednisolone Oral Drops comes in the form of 5 mg/ml, 10 ml bottles under the trade name Omnacortil Oral Drops manufactured by Macleods.

Précautions à prendre

Tell your doctor before taking Prednisolone, if:

you suffer from adrenal suppression or any other serious medical condition;
you have had, or are about to have any vaccinations;
you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Composants

Active ingredient: prednisolone.
Each ml (approx. 20 drops) contains: prednisolone sodium phosphate IP equivalent to prednisolone 5 mg.
