Prednisolone is used for the treatment of a wide range of inflammatory and auto-immune conditions, including: asthma, uveitis, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, Bell's palsy, multiple sclerosis, cluster headaches, systemic lupus erythematosus, and dermatomyositis.

Prednisolone Oral Solution comes as 5mg/5ml, 60 ml bottles under the trade name Omnacortil Oral Solution manufactured by Macleods.
