Ursodiol is the best medication on the market for biliary cirrhosis treatment. I have been a sufferer of primary biliary cirrhosis for more than six years when I was first prescribed with Ursodiol about a year ago. A few weeks later I have undergone a comprehensive testing and the results indicated that my AMA was negative! Then my doctor decided to put me off Ursodiol and see what happens. But the observations showed it was too early to stop taking Ursodiol so I'm on it again and it still helps. In general the medication is fantastic. Hope I'll be able to cope without it soon.  

I am a 45 year old female. It was a shock for me when the doctors diagnosed me with PBC about 3 years ago. Since that time I have had liver biopsies and blood tests for many times. Recently I started to notice that I am getting more tired and confused than before. My energy is gone. I asked my doctor to change the treatment and he put me on Ursodiol. PBC diagnosis was all of a sudden for me. I am 40 years of age and I believe it's a bit too early for such a serious disease. Recently I've been put on Ursodiol and my liver enzymes got back normal what was next to impossible as I have tried many meds and they didn't help a lot. The Ursodiol seems to work well for me. And I'm happy with it.

Then the docs managed to help me somehow and diagnosed me with some liver disorder. Then, almost twelve years later, the symptoms reappeared and I was taken to emergency room with unbearable pain and constant vomiting. This time the doctors were more precise and diagnosed me with primary biliary cirrhosis. No need to say it was horrible news. But with Ursodiol that I've been prescribed with life is not that grey and gloomy. The medication is naturally very effective!
