I have been on Asacol for about 5 years and it has changed my life. I had lymphocytic colitis for about 5 years previously and my doctor couldn't advise me some medication that would help me. But last year we moved to another state where my new doctor put me on Asacol daily. It took about 2 months and my colitis completely vanished. I'm still on Asacol but I'm planning to stop taking it and hope that the effect won't disappear.  

I've had ulcerative colitis now for 10 years of my life. I take Asacol for about two years now and still with no side effect. I am happy that my ulcerative colitis is now completely under control due to this amazing medication. With Asacol I have no acute pains and I can also eat everything.  

I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2000. It is an extremely unpleasant disease when you have sharp pains in your stomach almost after every mealtime, especially after eating something wrong. And almost every food with a hint of taste is wrong for you! For the last few years I have been using Asacol, during this time I haven't noticed any side effects or complications. I'm going for colonoscopy annually just to make sure that everything is going ok. Asacol is superb for me.  

I'm 30 years old. Last year I was diagnosed with lymphocytic colitis. It was a shock for me but there was nothing to do but to learn how to live with it and start treatment. It is very difficult to get used to all the restrictions and regulations. And I know that many people in my condition spend years to find the medication that suits them perfectly and helps control the disease. So I think I was lucky to find Asacol almost at the very beginning of my illness. This medication is my blessing!
