Benfotiamine
Benfotiamine (trade names include: Benalgis, Benfogamma, Benforce, Biotamin, Biotowa, Milgamma, Vilotram) is a derivative of thiamine (vitamin B1).
Benfotiamine is a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1 and is more bioavailable than thiamine.
Benfotiamine is used to treat nerve damage caused by diabetes (diabetic neuropathy) and alocoholism.

The usual dosage for diabetic neuropathy is 150 mg - 600 mg taken in 3-4 divided doses daily for several weeks.
